Centre for Yoga Studies
 

Established in 2000 under the specific grant of the University Grants Commission, New Delhi, the center aims to train people who are oriented towards research and teaching in advanced areas of Yoga. The centre aims to develop:

· An opportunity to learn the basics of Yoga and its significance in modern life.
· An awareness of the practice and prevention of psychosomatic disorders.
· Faculty and student Research in emerging areas of scientific and social importance.

Programme of study
Post Graduate Diploma in Yoga

Entrance Examination
Entrance examination will be conducted in first week of July including both a written exam and Practical test. In the practical test four compulsory Asanas for each Posture (standing, supine and prone) are allowed to be chosen. Candidates should secure a minimum of 50% of marks in the practical test. The written examination will include objective and fill-in the blank questions related to Yoga.

Infrastructure facilities
The center has good a hall for the practice for Asanas, Kriyas and Meditation and class room facilities.
