           The University has been offering a Semester in India programme (SIP) to foreign Undergraduate/ Post Graduate students who can take courses for a semester or two on credit transfer basis in our University. Faculty members are requested to specify their existing suitable courses or launch special courses which could interest students from the U. S. Faculty members interested in offering courses for SIP in July 2007 and December 2007 semesters may kindly send the course titles with suggested syllabi and pre-requisites, if any, to the undersigned preferably by e-mail (sip_pu@rediffmail.com). Please specify the semester in which the course (s) will be offered. The list of the courses will be sent to the interested candidates. Selection of the courses will be done by the students. Suitable honorarium, as decided by the University from time to time, will be paid to the faculty offering special courses to the SIP students. Such workload, however, will not be counted towards the normal departmental work load. The faculty who have submitted their course titles/ syllabi earlier need to resubmit updated course details alongwith unitized syllabus. While submitting the course details the faculty must specify if the course is a regular one or special for SIP students.
