Centre for Human Rights

The Centre has been
established in the year 1999 on a grant of the University Grants
Commission as a thrust area to promote the Human Rights and Duties
among the various sections of the society, especially the younger
generation. The main objective of the center is to train the students,
guide researchers and to co-ordinate with various governmental and
non-governmental organizations for the protection and promotion
of human rights for their better enforcement. The center also offers
M.Phil (part-time) programme in Human Rights and Duties Education.

M.Phil Human Rights (Part-time)
Entrance Examination
For M.Phil programme, entrance exami-nation would consist of objective
type questions.
Infrastructure facilities
Two computers with printers are available and a C.D.ROM of All India
Reporter and a C.D ROM set on Refugees of the UNHCR is also available
for the benefit of students.
