        Pondicherry   University   entered   the field of distance   education in the year 1995 - 96.

      The Courses offered are innovative and job oriented. The MBA courses in Marketing, Finance, International Business, Human resources Management are some of the very first program to be launched through distance mode in the entire Asian continent.
