We heard this phrase at least once in our lives, and education gives us knowledge about everything that surrounds us, from the sky to the earth, to air we breathe, and to the animal around us.

Education is the not only thing that gives us knowledge; personal experiences played a significant role, but, without education, you cannot convert the information or skills you gained through knowledge.

Here are the 14 tips for coping up with school stress:

Do Not Ever Skip Meals

Most students run late and skip their breakfast, that’s a big NO. Breakfast is an essential meal that you should not skip. Why? Your brain needs a lot of glucose to improve your concentration. The brain uses up about half of the body’s energy when studying. Avoid eating junk foods, and have nutritious food instead. “A balanced diet that includes lots of fiber helps keep your gut system running efficiently by helping to support a more diverse gut microbiome.” A reminder from John M. You Need Adequate Sleep

Cramming is typical among students, pulling an all-nighter for the exam the next day. This will stress your brain more and made you forget what you studied. Studying in advance, and have enough sleep will make you remember the things that you read. “Sleep can restore your mind and body. The immune system repairs itself and the brain rests and recharges while you sleep. Without enough sleep, you can’t function at your best.” Dr. Aaron Kaplan, PsyD, Clinical Psychologist added. Experts say that it would be best to consider from 5 in the morning up until ten. You can also study at night, from 5 in the afternoon until nine. Early morning is a time when there is minimal movement of any form. Your brain is in its relaxed state.

Create A Timetable And Follow It

You have at least eight subjects, and you have limited time to study, and you know which subject to consider first. As a student, you should be responsible enough to have time management, and following effectively following it is an essential part of being a student.

Go For Smart Targets

You are still a student, so keep your goals achievable. You should know precisely what you need to achieve – research paper, a passing examination score, and what you expect to gain from achieving it.

Start Studying Yesterday

DO NOT CRAM! Review your lessons every night after school, and it will help you remember what your class discussed throughout the day. Do not wait for a day before the exam to open and review your notes.

Give Yourself A Break

Take a Walk. Get outside and get some fresh air. Moving your body helps the blood in your brain flow evenly. Do The Things You Love

Phone a friend, or talk to the people you meet at the par while having a short walk, it will help your brain relax from the intense amount of studying you have done.

Exercise Too

Sitting for an extended period can detriment both our physical and mental health. Exercising helps the excellent supply of fresh air active in our brain. Jumping jacks, squats, walk up the stairs, shoulder shrugs, and incline push-ups are some of the exercises you can do in your study break to ease the tension of your muscles.

Meditation Can Help

Meditate in a calm and quiet room, revitalize your mind and body, and it can absorb more information. Try to focus on some breathing exercises while meditating, and free your mind of any thoughts or worries. “Meditation is not just relaxing, but to be keenly aware of the present moment while not interfering with mental activities that revolve around our little self.” Andrea F. Decide On Your Timetable

You should avoid studying on our beds; the soft bed will incite us to fall asleep instead! You should study at your table, and avoid placing your phone near you. There’s a time when to eat or call your friends. But, focus on studying where you re on it.

Learn Concepts

Memorization isn’t the most effective way to learn, and rote learning can be repetitive, easy for you to lose focus, and it may result in the wrong impression or understanding a concept.

You should understand the concept thoroughly, focus on the outcome of the learning process, and relates the new information to your prior knowledge.

Stay Positive With Your Plans

Sometimes, things won’t go well as planned, don’t be discouraged from trying again, and having patience.

Group studying can sometimes help you learn more, you can learn from your friends, and they can learn from you, but remember to be mindful t the numbers of people involved, because sometimes, your friends can also become your distractions from your studies.

Handle Stress Wisely

Don’t stress yourself too much. Keep that motivation going to reach your goals. Divert yourself from stress if you feel it creeping in. How? You can do other productive things to convert the negative into positive pressure.
